Antique Brass Switch | Chemically Aged Finish, Hand-Brushed Texture
We believe real vintage character can’t be sprayed on—it has to be earned.
That’s why we don’t paint our brass switches. Instead, we use chemical patination—a process that lets the metal oxidize naturally, developing deep, aged tones. The color isn’t applied; it’s grown from within.
Once the patina has formed, the hand-finishing begins. This is where skill comes in—knowing where to leave the depth, where to bring out the light. By hand, we gently burnish the surface, allowing the brass to warm through the shadows.
Every piece carries the mark of the hand: subtle brush strokes, natural color variations, a play of light and shadow. No two are exactly alike—and that’s exactly how we want it.
This isn’t factory-perfect. It’s craftsmanship with character—made by people who care.
The Process: Chemical patina + Hand-burnished finish
Why It Matters: No paint, no coating—just solid brass that ages beautifully
